The Home Depot wants to engage with the growing culture of DIYers and are paying particular interest to young, first-time home owners. This microsite provides a hub for meaningful tutorials to make that new house a home. The simple design for this microsite is inspired by housing blueprints. With custom icons and a simple click through UX, the microsite is an easy to use, customizable, step by step guide for users on their favorite DIY projects. A unique feature on this microsite is the tools and materials checklist, where users can check off all the materials they already have and the site will generate a shopping chart of the items needed.
